Moloch tells the story of a mother who builds one of the world’s largest agentic AI services, only to watch as the technology takes the world's jobs, and tears her own family apart. Determined to stop what she’s created, she attempts to shut the program down, only to be met by an executive who refuses. Inspired by the idea of Moloch, the film explores how ordinary people become trapped in systems that sacrifice human dignity in pursuit of progress, efficiency, and survival.
